We have heard concerns about our reduced adoption hours. Our goal is to expand hours as resources allow. Until then, we feel it’s important to share information and the why’s of where we are today.
COVID-19 RISK WARNING
The City of Rancho Cucamonga complies with CDC, California Department of Public Health and San Bernardino County Department of Public Health recommendations for enhanced health and safety measures related to COVID-19 to protect our residents, visitors, businesses, and employees. We ask that you follow all posted instructions while using City facilities and parks.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 currently exists in any public place where individuals are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
Please understand, we cannot sanitize every facility or each piece of equipment after each individual use. By visiting a City facility or park, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
